1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Zasnet Systems Kft., which operates ZASNET Academy (“ZASNET Academy”, “we”, “us”). They apply to your use of our website and to every training you or your organisation books with us. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Disclaimer.

If you book on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation and its participants. A separate written agreement for a private or on-site programme takes priority over these Terms where they differ. Contracts are concluded in English.
2. Eligibility
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Participants must be physically able to take part in practical work, which may include standing for long periods, lifting, kneeling and working on ladders or stands. Please tell us in advance about any condition or accessibility need so we can discuss reasonable adjustments.
- Where a venue requires it, participants must provide a valid passport or national ID card and pass any security screening required by the airport, FBO or hangar. We cannot refund a participant who is refused access for failing to meet these requirements.
- Some courses have prerequisites, which are listed on the Trainings page.
3. Bookings
- An enquiry does not reserve a seat. The contract is formed, and your booking confirmed, only when we send written confirmation by email and receive any required payment or deposit.
- Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If a class is full, we may offer a waitlist place or an alternative date.
- Please check your booking confirmation carefully and tell us promptly about any errors.
4. Fees and payment
- Fees are quoted in euros (EUR) or Hungarian forints (HUF), as stated in your quote. Prices for consumers include VAT; prices for business customers are shown net of VAT where applicable.
- Unless stated otherwise, fees include instruction, course materials, products, the use of equipment and PPE during practical sessions, and the certificate of completion. Travel, accommodation and meals are not included unless we say so.
- We may require a deposit to hold your seat. Any deposit is stated at booking.
- The balance is due by the date shown on your confirmation or invoice, and in any case before the course starts. We may release your seat if payment is not received on time.
- Business customers may be invoiced on agreed payment terms.
5. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you book as a consumer (for purposes outside your trade, business or profession) by email, phone or online, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of the day the contract is formed, without giving a reason. To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email or post before the 14 days end.
- If you withdraw before the course starts, we will refund all payments received from you within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method unless you agree otherwise.
- If the course starts within the 14-day period, we will ask you to request this expressly when booking. If you then withdraw after the course has started, you must pay an amount proportionate to the training provided up to that point.
- Once a course has been fully delivered at your express request, you lose the right of withdrawal.
- For online courses, you lose the right of withdrawal once you start accessing the course content, if you expressly agreed to this when purchasing and acknowledged that you would lose the right.
The cancellation terms in section 6 apply once the withdrawal period has ended, and to business bookings.
6. Cancellations, transfers and refunds
We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or move your booking, tell us in writing as early as possible. For open-enrolment classes, counted from the first day of the course:
- 21 days or more before: full refund of fees paid, less any non-refundable deposit stated at booking — or a free transfer to another date.
- 8 to 20 days before: one free transfer to another scheduled class within 12 months, or a 50% refund.
- 7 days or less before, or no-show: no refund. We may, at our discretion, offer a transfer subject to availability.
- Substitutions: you may send another qualifying person in your place at no extra cost, if you tell us before the course starts.
Cancellation terms for private and on-site programmes are set out in the agreement for that programme. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Changes or cancellations by us
We may need to change the instructor, venue or schedule of a course, or cancel it — for example due to low enrolment, weather, aircraft or venue availability, airport restrictions or instructor illness. If we cancel a course, you may choose a full refund of fees paid or a transfer to another date. If we make a significant change you cannot accept, you may cancel for a full refund.
We are not responsible for travel, accommodation or other costs you incur, so we recommend booking flexible or refundable travel.
8. Attendance, assessment and certificates
- To receive a certificate of completion, you must attend all sessions and pass the course assessment.
- If you do not pass, we will explain why and may offer a reassessment, which may carry a fee.
- Certificates confirm the training you completed. They are not licences or approvals issued by EASA, the FAA or any national aviation authority, and they do not authorise you to perform maintenance or to work on any aircraft — see our Disclaimer.
- We may withdraw a certificate obtained through misconduct or misrepresentation, and you must not alter or misrepresent a certificate.
9. Safety, conduct and airside rules
- You must follow instructors’ directions and all safety, security and conduct rules of the venue, airport and FBO at all times.
- You must wear the PPE required for each activity, and must not touch, board or work on any aircraft or equipment unless an instructor tells you to.
- Alcohol, drugs that impair your ability to work safely, smoking or vaping outside designated areas, and reckless or abusive behaviour are not permitted.
- We may remove a participant from a course for unsafe or disruptive conduct. In that case, no refund is due.
10. Risks of practical training
Practical training takes place in working aviation environments and involves inherent risks, including working at height, chemicals, powered tools, moving aircraft and vehicles, fuel and weather. By attending, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take reasonable care for your own safety and that of others. We may ask you to sign a safety briefing acknowledgement before practical sessions.
11. Aircraft, equipment and property
Aircraft, equipment and facilities used during training belong to us, our venue partners or their customers. You are liable under applicable law for damage you cause intentionally, through gross negligence or by disregarding instructions. Please report any damage or incident to your instructor immediately.
12. Private and on-site training
When we train at your premises, you are responsible for providing a safe working environment, the necessary permissions and access, appropriate insurance, and the consent of the owner or operator of any aircraft used for training. We may postpone or stop a session if conditions are unsafe.
13. Course materials and intellectual property
All course materials, manuals, checklists, videos and website content are owned by or licensed to ZASNET Academy and are provided for your personal use. You may not copy, share, sell, record or use them to train others without our written permission. You may not record sessions without our consent.
14. Photos and recordings
We may take photos or video during trainings for instruction and assessment. We will ask for your consent before using identifiable images of you for marketing, and you can say no without affecting your training. Please follow venue rules about photography — many airports and FBOs restrict photographing aircraft, registrations and secure areas.
15. Using our website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with its operation, gain unauthorised access, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.
16. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for damage to life, physical integrity or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that:
- our total liability to you in connection with a training is limited to the fees you paid for that training;
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, income, business or opportunity, to the extent permitted by law;
- we are not liable for loss or damage arising from work you perform outside our supervised training sessions.
17. Governing law, complaints and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first — we will reply in writing within 30 days. Consumers may also turn to a conciliation board (békéltető testület), such as the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület) or the board competent for their place of residence.
Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably fall under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Hungary, without prejudice to a consumer’s right to bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence.
18. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force when you book applies to that booking. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
