1. General information
The content on this website and in our courses is provided by Zasnet Systems Kft. (“ZASNET Academy”, “we”, “us”) for general educational purposes. It is intended to help you develop good practice in aircraft detailing and aviation service work. It is not a substitute for the instructions, approvals and procedures that apply to a specific aircraft, product, operator or location.
2. Certificates are not official aviation licences
Our certificates of completion are private credentials issued by ZASNET Academy. They confirm that you attended a course and completed its assessment. They are not a licence, certificate, rating, endorsement, approval or authorisation issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Hungarian aviation authority or any other authority, and they are not a state-recognised vocational qualification or an academic accreditation.
Unless expressly stated in writing, our courses are not endorsed by, affiliated with or approved by any aviation authority, aircraft manufacturer or product manufacturer.
Certificates are earned by meeting the course requirements; they are not issued automatically for attendance.
3. Detailing is not maintenance
Aircraft detailing and appearance services are different from aircraft maintenance. Under aviation regulations — for example EASA Part-M, Part-ML, Part-145 and Part-66 in the EU, or 14 CFR Part 43 in the United States — certain tasks, which may include some cleaning, lubrication or servicing work, count as maintenance and must only be performed or certified by appropriately licensed or approved persons and organisations. Our trainings do not qualify or authorise you to perform or certify any maintenance.
If you are unsure whether a task is detailing or maintenance, stop and ask the aircraft owner, operator or a licensed maintenance engineer before proceeding.
4. Always follow manufacturer and operator requirements
Methods taught in our courses are general good practice. On any real job you must follow, in this order of priority:
- the aircraft manufacturer’s maintenance manual and any approved cleaning or appearance guidance for that aircraft;
- the instructions and safety data sheets of every product you use, and any product approvals required by the aircraft manufacturer;
- the procedures and approval of the aircraft owner or operator;
- the rules of the airport, FBO or hangar where you work, and your insurer’s requirements.
Where anything we teach differs from these requirements, the requirements above take priority.
5. Access to aircraft and airside areas
Completing a training does not give you any right to access an airport, ramp, hangar or aircraft. Access is a privilege granted by the airport, FBO, owner or operator, and is always subject to their rules, security screening, escort requirements and insurance conditions.
6. No guarantee of results, employment or income
We work hard to deliver high-quality training, but results depend on your own effort, experience and circumstances. We do not guarantee any particular result, employment, contract, client, income or business outcome. Any examples, case studies or testimonials are illustrative only and are not a promise of similar results.
7. Business, legal and insurance topics
Courses and materials that cover running a business — such as pricing, insurance, contracts or permits — are general information only. They are not legal, insurance, tax or financial advice, and rules differ between countries. Please consult qualified professionals about your specific situation before making decisions.
8. Products and brands
We may use or mention products, tools and brands during training. This does not mean we endorse them, and their mention does not imply any affiliation or approval unless expressly stated. Trademarks belong to their respective owners. Always check that a product is approved for use on the specific aircraft and surface.
9. Safety and personal responsibility
Aircraft detailing and airside work involve real hazards, including working at height, chemicals, powered equipment, moving aircraft and vehicles, fuel and weather. You are responsible for working safely, using the correct personal protective equipment and following all safety rules, both during and after our trainings.
10. Website information
We aim to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but course content, dates, formats, locations and prices may change, and the site may contain errors or omissions. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, ZASNET Academy is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use of information on this website or from applying techniques taught in our courses outside our supervised training sessions — including damage to any aircraft, property or equipment, or loss of income. This does not limit our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for damage to life, physical integrity or health, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Our liability in connection with trainings we deliver is governed by our Terms & Conditions.
